Cookie Policy

What cookies are#

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display settings) so that you do not have to enter them again every time you return to the website or browse from one page to another.

Cookies used#

The IT consulting service uses exclusively strictly necessary technical cookies for the operation of the Judo in Cloud software. We do not use profiling cookies, advertising cookies or external analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

Essential technical cookies#

Authentication cookie (JWT Token)

  • Purpose: Keep your login session active and secure
  • Duration: Until the end of the session or logout
  • Necessity: Essential to access the restricted features (coach, organizer and tatami areas)
  • Legal basis: Necessary for the performance of the contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR)

Session cookies

  • Purpose: Ensure the correct operation of browsing and of the website features
  • Duration: Until the browser is closed
  • Necessity: Essential for the technical operation of the website
  • Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR)

Under the applicable regulations (Provision of the Italian Data Protection Authority no. 229/2014 and subsequent amendments), prior consent is not required for the use of technical cookies, since they are strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the user.

For this reason, Judo in Cloud does not show any cookie management banner.

How to disable cookies#

Even if it is not recommended (it would prevent the correct operation of the service), you can block or delete cookies by changing your browser settings:

Google Chrome

  1. Click on "Settings" > "Privacy and security" > "Cookies and other site data"
  2. Select "Block all cookies" or manage exceptions per site

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on "Options" > "Privacy & Security"
  2. In the "Cookies and Site Data" section, select your preferences

Safari

  1. Click on "Preferences" > "Privacy"
  2. Select the options related to cookies

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click on "Settings" > "Cookies and site permissions"
  2. Manage the cookie settings

Consequences of disabling cookies#

Warning: If you disable technical cookies you will not be able to:

  • Log in to your account
  • Use the restricted features (athlete management, brackets, scoreboard)
  • Keep your session active while browsing

In short, the Judo in Cloud service will not be usable.

Third-party cookies#

Judo in Cloud does not use third-party cookies for profiling or advertising purposes. The data is managed exclusively on our servers and on those of the cloud service providers (Google Cloud Platform and MongoDB Atlas), which do not install cookies in your browser.

We reserve the right to change this Cookie Policy at any time. Any substantial changes will be communicated through a notice on the website.
